Tania Barrot, sadly lost her battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) in early 2021. She left behind husband Trevor, two children (Cambo and Georgie), step-daughter (Mikahla), four sisters (the Reilley girls), parents Nola and Gerry, amazing friends of many years, nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

On Saturday the 4th of March, 2023 we came together for event “One More Night” in honour of Tania. Our team managed this event from start to finish- and everything in between, including:

  • Website development;

  • Auction management;

  • Ticketing and handling RSVPs;

  • Dealing with caterers, venue, entertainment, styling and audio and visual;

  • Budget;

  • Presentation;

  • Producing a video that was played on the night demonstrating where money raised was going; and

  • Content creation and a social media strategy to raise money, thank contributors, advertise auction items, educate the community on this cause, communication event details and share this families important story.

The night was hugely successful raising a total of $90,951.60 to support The Florey Institute for the Victorian Brain Bank (VBB) to aid research into MSA.

Testimonial

The ‘One More Night for Tania’ fundraising event to support the Victorian Brain Bank and important research into Multiple Systems Atrophy was a wonderful and successful evening because of the enthusiasm and hard work by Emily and Medical Sphere.  Medical Sphere’s professionalism and attention to detail throughout the event planning and evening was exceptional. Congratulations Medical Sphere!
