ADAPT-CMD: Capturing the Faces Behind Groundbreaking Muscle Disease Research
We had the privilege of working with the Australian Functional Diagnostics Platform for Advancing Personalised Treatment of Congenital Muscle Disease (ADAPT-CMD) — a collaborative initiative uniting leading scientists and clinicians to develop more effective treatments for genetic muscle disorders.
Our photography work spanned Monash University, The Royal Children’s Hospital, and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, with images now featured across ADAPT-CMD’s website, social media, newsletters, and presentations.
The scope of the shoot included:
- Professional headshots
- Team portraits
- Candid action shots in laboratories and clinical settings
This project involved careful consideration of:
- Consistent branding and adherence to style guidelines across multiple institutions
- Audience diversity, from researchers seeking technical insight to families affected by congenital muscle disease
- Clear communication, supporting content that guides scientists, clinicians, and patients to the right information
- Telling a compelling visual story that represents both the human and scientific sides of the initiative
We’re proud to have contributed imagery that supports ADAPT-CMD’s mission and enhances its communication across platforms.
