Australian Functional Diagnostics Platform for Advancing Personalised Treatment of Congenital Muscle Disease (ADAPT-CMD).

ADAPT-CMD brings together leading scientists and clinicians to develop more effective treatments for genetic muscle disease.

Emily, Founder of Medical Sphere, is currently working as a Project Manager for the ADAPT-CMD team.

Emily has worked to communicate and promote this important project. She worked with the Monash web developer to provide content- copy and professional photography.

Photos were taken at Monash University, Royal Children’s Hospital and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. These images have been used across multiple platforms including the website, social media, presentations and newsletters. Shots included headshots, team photos, actions shots in labs and clinic.

Important things that needed to be considered with this project:

• Name
• Branding and guidelines of each involved organisation (there were many)!
• Target audience(s)- providing information to scientists on each methodology to promote collaborative research. Secondarily, patients and families interested to partake in the work.
• How to direct scientist, patient and clinician enquiries
• Content that would tell their important story.
• Photography to accurately capture this team and their work.
